Replacing SQL

Timeshift is promoted as a way to recover files for a broken system or user directory. I use Timeshift to backup everything so I can restore anything.

My old version of LibreOffice is and the latest version is 6.0.4. LibreOffice 6.0 appears to have many small improvements. Here is the result of the upgrade.

GTK or Qt?

Qt and GTK are Graphical User Interface libraries used by software developers to add standard user interfaces to applications on Linux, Windows, and OSX. The reasons for choosing one are loosely based on fashion, practicality, and the details of the various releases of each library. There are also alternatives popping up faster than you can evaluate. There are good arguments for both.


Lightning versus Drupal

Lightning is a distribution of Drupal with modules and configuration added for publishers. While not as powerful as the competing Thunder distribution of Drupal, Lightning has useful additions, some of which are now in Drupal. Does Lightning continue to be more useful than Drupal?
