The Method

Weird book. Tough read. Mia Holl lives in a country where some sort of intellectual twist makes conversations long and dull. The country sounds a bit like a reality TV show where you find out everything about everybody all the time. The state locks up Mia's boyfriend, he kills himself in protest, then Mia protests by copying some of the boyfriend's behaviour. It is not quite like the novel 1984 or Big Brother or anything else as interesting, it is more like an intellectual discussion about the way people live in the novel 1984.
