Powerquest Drive Image and PartitionMagic programs were the best disk imaging combination for a while. Now there is a free open source competitor.

Drive Image and PartitionMagic were used on Windows when Windows was the dominant desktop operating system. Anyone setting up computers professionally had PartitionMagic and Drive Image. Drive Image helped you copy everything from an old disk to a new disk. PartitionMagic let you expand the partitions to use the full space on the new disk.
