Pantone selected their colour of the year for 2020, Classic Blue 19-4052. This will influence fashion. Reproducing the colour accurately across different materials is difficult, giving you the usual problems of colour matching. Here is a quote on Classic BLue from the Pantone Web site:

Classic Blue 19-4052 TCX is specified as hex 0F4C81 for your CSS and HTML display. 19-4052 TPX gives 1D4E89 as the hex value for the colour. Classic Blue 19-4052 TPG specifies the hex value 34558B. Why are they different?
TPX is their attempt at describing the colour you get when their ink is used on paper. TCX is the same ink used on cotton and is usually lighter due to the light diffraction caused by the texture of the cotton. TPG is the "green" version of their ink. Some chemicals were banned in Europe and the replacements are slightly different. The main TPG difference appears to be colours containing yellow.
