Author of 15 Miles and Asbury Park. I suggest reading 15 Miles first then Asbury Park with some other books in between so you do not overdose on Sailor Doyle.
Asbury Park has a little more flair and kick, something you need when you read a second book about the same character. I read Asbury Park first then read 15 Miles a month later to catch up on the series. This is definitely a series worth starting at the front with 15 Miles.
