Practical PHP Programming

The text is finished. The examples work. Just waiting on the index and cover.

PHP Black Book, Paraglyph Press, October 12, 2001.

The PHP Black Book was originally 1100 pages and then trimmed back to 880 pages because the publisher said their binding could not hold 1100 pages together. All 1100 pages were produced in just 20 weeks because I could draw on the large pool of existing material I develop for workshops. All the code was tested on live Web pages.

Industry experts complement the small number of typographic errors in the finished product. Instead of the hundreds present in other books, there are less than ten in the PHP Black Book.

Beginners complement the easy introduction to both PHP and dynamic Web sites. Advanced users say they have a new view of PHP after reading the PHP Black Book.
